Feature for Thanksgiving weekend on Wilma Briggs, who just turned 81, and was a star player in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball league from 1948-1954. She grew up in East Greenwich where her father was a farmer. She is a retired Rhode Island school teacher and speaks at area schools about her career. She had a cameo in the Geena Davis-Tom Hanks-Madonna movie: A League of Their Own."
