1785 Chap. 0074 An Act For Apportioning And Assessing A Tax Of Three Hundred Thousand, Four Hundred And Thirty-Nine Pounds, One Shilling And Three .Pence, Viz.: One Hundred And Forty-Five Thousand, Six Hundred And Fifty-Five Pounds, For The Purpose Of Complying With The Requisition Of The United States In Congress Assembled, Of The Twenty-Seventh Day Of September, Anno Domini, One Thousand Seven Hundred And Eighty-Five; For Raising Twenty-Five Thousand Seven Hundred And Eighty-Four Pounds, One Shilling And Three Pence, For The Support Of Government; And Twenty-Nine Thousand Pounds For The Payment Of Interest On The Consolidated Notes Of This State; And The Sum Of One Hundred Thousand Pounds For The Purpose Of Redeeming The Remainder Of The Army Notes, So Called, Which Became Payable In The Years One Thousand Seven Hundred And Eighty-Four, One Thousand Seven Hundred And Eighty-Five, And One Thousand Seven Hundred And Eighty-Six, Not Already Provided For; And Also The Further Sum Of Eleven Thousand And One Pounds, Eighteen Shillings, To Replace The Same Sum Drawn Out Of The Treasury, To Pay The Members Of The House Of Representatives, For Their Attendance The Five Last Sessions Of The General Court.
