Caricature of Coulman disguised as an Alsatian. He was a deputy of the Alsace region of France. This caricature is one of the "Ball in the Court" series. Deputy Coulman represented the French province of Alsace. He had a reputation of not dressing "comme il faut" when attending the King's audience. Provost is convinced that the person shown here is not Coulman, but rather Humann.
