Letter addressed the Overseers of Poor of Plymouth Mass by Stephen [?] [May 11, 1853] "West Cambridge May 11, 1853 To the Overseers of Poor of Plymouth Mass Gents, your note of the 9th came to have this eve[?] informing us of the illness of Wid Blackington who has applied for help. I would inquire if she is able to be removed to West Cambridge. Please answer by return of mail and in the mean time supply her with such necessaries as her case[care?] may require if she is not able to be removed.
