'The collective bargaining agreement 1980-1982 assigned a full-time clerk for Evaluation Team Leaders (ETLs). In 1981, the Boston Public Schools (BPS) unilaterally cut the amount of clerks in half. This was a huge impact on ETL working conditions. I, Janey Frank, filed a class grievance and the Boston Teachers Union (BTU) prevailed. This was the largest settlement against BPS to date.'
