'Members of the professional and volunteer staff at the Kendall Whaling Museum pose in Kendall Whaling Museum t-shirts (sold in gift shop) in one of the galleries of the museum. The museum was founded by Jenry P. Kendall of Sharon in 1956 and closed in 2001, its collections given to the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Its collections included art and artifacts from all periods and nationalities of whale hunting and other human interactions with whales. The photo is in the British and American paintings gallery. Pictured, from left to right, around ship's figurehead of Pocahontas: Tanya Paul (intern), Elisabeth McGregor (curator), Bob Babineau (volunteer), Louise Dembrowski (visitor services), Megan Shaw (intern), Michael Dyer (librarian).
