'This photo was taken at Sand Beach in Bar Harbor. I biked from Center Tuftonboro, New Hampshire to Bar Harbor, Maine, roughly 250 miles, in four days [with] seven other girls and two camp leaders. On the trip we stayed at churches some nights and in tents on others. The people we met were very kind and would give us food, showers and a warm place to sleep. This summer I will bike for three weeks in Nova Scotia, Canada with the same girls from Merrowvista. These trips teach kids important values that I and many others will cherish forever.'
