Frank W. Logan beside last passenger train to run on the Watertown branch
Description:
'Near Waltham Station and the Waltham train tower where the Watertown branch split off from the main (Fitchburg) line. Frank W. Logan was my grandfather. He was a conductor on the Fitchburg Railroad, which later become the Boston and Main Railroad. Here he is pictured beside his train on the day they made the last passenger run down the Watertown branch. My father, John T. Logan, and 3 of my uncles worked on the Boston and Maine Railroad. Photo taken by Henry Gibson. Location: 28 Irving Street.'
