'The wax beaded top of the veil was worn by my mother when she got married. Bought the bottom veil in the North End. Carrying a white Bible under the flowers I am carrying. The material on the floor in front of me is part of the veil. Five yards of material, borrowed from sister-in-law. Wore a hoop because my sister-in-law was taller. Pictured: myself Mary Caramanica and my husband Ernest Caramanica.'
