'This is a picture of my parents when they first got married. They had stopped on Water Street in the South End of New Bedford. My mother is holding a bag of fish and chips in her hand. It was very scandalous in that time because my father was so much older than my mother. He was 32 when they married and she was only nineteen, but they were so much in love. Pictured: Hazel Crowel Crook and Thomas Crook.'
