'The town had been trying to build a new library as the old library was very overcrowded. Finally the town decided to remodel a grade school which had closed (the Highland School). Bonds were sold to fund the project. It had been many years in the making. Pictured: Elizabeth W. Klepeis. Location: Town Treasurer's Office.'
