1999 reenactment of the historic 'Battle of Falmouth'

'The battle occurred 200 years ago between the Falmouth Militia and British troops. The reenactment was staged on Vineyard Sound aboard ships to rowboats and on the Village Green, which is bordered by authentic colonial era homes. There are more troop members. This is the largest British reenactment unit in New England. Pictured: Lt.
