'In about 1920, Christina and her husband Harry Timmons came with baby Harriet from Glace Bay, Nova Scotia and settled in Hyde Park. Their younger children, Douglas and Kathleen, were born there. Harriet attended St. Raphael's Elementary School. They went to Hyde Park High School, where Douglas was a noted baseball player. One of the few surviving pictures of Christina and Harriet Ann. Pictured, from left to right: my husband's maternal grandmother Christina (Currie) Timmons and my mother-in-law Harriet Ann (Timmons) Smith. Location: River Street.'
