'I never knew the Atwoods but we all have lived in the same wonderful, historic house--now at 417 Main Street (built in 1765 at 432 Main Street). The Atwoods moved the house in 1922 and restored it. We met, in the early 2000s, their great-granddaughter Jeanne Atwood who was seeking information for her family genealogy. We've remained friends--she now lives in Florida.
