'I played left guard. I was knocked out and then taken out of this game against Saugus. Dr. Blais was our team doctor. The final score was Saugus (0), Amesbury (6). The stadium was under construction, as a WPA project. Next year, I was named team captain. Pictured: Dr. Blais and William E. (Bill) Ryan.'
