'Ever since I was eighteen (in the U.K.), my favorite vacation place is the Isles of Scilly in Cornwall, U.K. I am now 70. Four generations of my family have been going there since 1968. One hundred tiny islands, camping, no overdevelopment. Five islands are inhabited. You can have your own island for a day, if you have a boat, and the whole coast is 'free' as it's the duchy of Cornwall. Crystal clear water, good weather, but the water is cold! These are holidays with the U.K. branch of my family. Pictured, from left to right: my grandson Jonty Bryant, my daughter-in-law Rebecca Bryant, my son Robin Bryant, myself Peter Bryant, and my grandson Sam Bryant.'
