McCormack discusses with Minor, representative of General Motors (France), the type of affiliation he had in mind for Jean Claude Killy. He explains that when/if Killy became involved in commercial endorsements for General Motors products in France, that he may make a tour to France under GM sponsorship. McCormack explains that they may be able to utilize promotional material developed by Chevrolet in the United States which would reduce their mechanical and production costs. McCormack believes that an association between Killy and Minor's company would be mutually beneficial, as skiing has become very popular in France.
