Description:
A letter to Benjamin Silliman in which Edward Hitchcock writes that he will make some edits requested by Silliman to the geological map of the area from New Haven, Connecticut, to Vermont. Hitchcock also seeks Silliman's advice on a few smaller matters, such as whether to print up "botanical notices" and whether to have some drawings engraved.
