Letter from Robert J. Lynch to the Massachusetts Association of Paraplegics
Description:
Concerning a checklist for architectural barriers which Lynch had printed for a project in which they find people with physical disabilities in the community, determine their needs, and try to service these needs. Lynch discusses laws that require barrier-free design for new construction or alterations to existing buildings, but these relate only to public buildings built with public funds. He asks for information on any specially designed housing for people with severe disabilities already existing in the correspondent's area, or if any are being planned.
