Chamberlin is writing to the editor of Sojourner expressing her disappointment in how they covered the change in the Boston human rights ordinance and all the groups it covered who were protected against discrimination. Sojouner left out ex-offender status, prior psychiatric patients, or military status. This is the first time that former psychiatric inmates have been included.
