This document is the May 1971 edition of the Springfield College Women's Recreation Association's, originally the Women's Athletic Association, Constitution. The 1971 edition has eleven articles that describe the name, purpose, membership, officers, executive board, board of representatives, elections, meetings, organizations, awards, how to make amendments. While the formatting changed from earlier additions, the content largely did not. Article VI (Officers) and Article VII (Elections) were restructured and abbreviated from the 1964 edition, while the Executive Board and Board of Representatives articles are entirely new. Likewise, Article VI (Intramurals), Article VII (All-Star Team), Article VIII (All-Springfield Team), and Article X (Intercollegiate Sports) were removed. The Jane Duane Award was introduced in this edition, and no mention is made of the Women's Athletic Association's plaque where previous award winners had their names engraved.
