- Ah! ciel! ma plus belle potiche!.... ce que j'ai de plus précieux au monde!....
Title (alt.):
- Oh! heavens! my most beautiful vase!.... my most valuable possession in this world!.....
Description:
Both the home production and collecting of ceramics and porcelain became fashionable in the fifties. Any bourgeois family with some self-esteem had to have their small collection of "Chinoiseries" (antique Chinese vases) or at least the house wife had to try do her own pottery.
