Width of road: 20 ft. Travelled way: width 12 ft., grade 0 ft. per 100. Surface: all chopped up with ruts, frozen hard, ruts 6 in. deep material: turf and clay mixed sides: right, slopes down to gutter then up, left, slopes down to gutter then up gutters: right, 5 in. deep, left, 8 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Road has been lately repaired, and now is in very poor condition. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
