McCormack thanks James D. Hardin for his recent letter and asks him to send some information about his case. He offers to look at it and see if there is something they might be able to do to be of some assistance. Attached is a letter from Hardin to McCormack explaining that he is an inmate at the State Correctional Institute of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has been in contact with HBO and CBS about his case. He would like McCormack to handle business he has concerning and publishing rights about his case. He has been approached by freelance writers who are interested in writing a book on the case as well.
