McCormack reminds John Curry about an agreement TVB made to pay for Wimbledon in 1989. He indicates how the amount of money was broken down and explains that, as Ian Edwards will know, there were a number of recent discussions with both ATV and TVB about 1990. He provides information about an "extraordinary offer" they received from ATV for a three-year contract starting in 1990 and indicates that TVB has agreed to go up to a certain amount of money for a similar package in 1990 but notes the differences between the two packages. He explains that they have indicated to both networks that a decision about the matter would be made this evening.
