Mark H. McCormack explains to Todd McCormack that the attached correspondence concerning Nobel means they have to throw in the towel and suggests that what they might do now is try to sell the advertorial to Warner Lambert. Attached is a letter from Gerard Smith of Newsweek to Mark H. McCormack indicating that there is a misunderstanding regarding Newsweek's commitment to the Nobel Foundation. Smith reviews the situation as he knows it. Also attached is a letter from Ray Healy to Todd McCormack proposing that IMG allow Newsweek to sell the series for October to December 1989 publication. He identifies the advantages for the Nobel Foundation and asks that Todd McCormack and Bev Norwood consider this option. Also attached are five invoices pertaining to the Nobel agreement.
