Description:
Working together,Bastien and Robert murdered Robert’s mother-in-law on September 13, 1821. Her skeleton was found in the garden of Rue Vaugirard, nr. 81. They were indicted in 1821, but acquitted without judgment in 1823. The case was taken up again in 1833 resulting in a sentence of a life of forced labour.
