'In 1969, I came to work at the Plymouth New England Telephone office on Court Street. My then fiance and I drove to Plymouth prior to my new job so that I would learn the route. Knowing I had some Sherman ancestors we found the Sherman tombstone and stopped to take my picture in front. Fifty years later, in October 2019, we found it again and retook the shot. The original shot is prior to the John Carver Inn having built their indoor pool so the small building on Summer Street between the headstones is the Richard Sparrow House.
