A large ostrich egg carved in horizontal bands, suggesting a Persian influence. The end of each carved band has a floral motif, then a band of florals alternating with birds in four different poses. Then comes a geometric band. The center band shows a deer-like animal in various poses, that alternates with a serpentine motif. Then it repeats back to the geometric and bird and floral bands to complete.
