Mayor Kevin H. White of Boston today presented a Paul Revere bowl to Captain Edward J. Keelan of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company of Keelan, a resident of Dedham, will head a 300-man detail of Ancients to England this coming Friday when they board the Queen Elizabeth Two at Commonwealth Pier in South Boston. The bowl, presented by Mayor White, will be presented by Captain Keelan to the Honourable Artillery Company of London under the command of General Sit Rodney Moore. Queen Elizabeth will receive the entire Ancients Company at Buckingham Pallace at 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 7, 1971. Captain Keelan will present Her Royal Highness with a silver tea set, a gift from the Ancients. The Ancients and Honorable Artillery Company of Massachusetts, the oldest military organization in the United States, was chartered in 1638 and historic Faneuil Hall is their headquarters.
