League is "Yes" and "No" to Hitler- London-The League of Nations council in session at St. James' palace March 16 after reaching agreement on reply to Adolf Hitler. The council unanimously accepted the first of Hitler's conditions that Germany attend the league council on equal footing with other members, but decided against his proposal that German peace offers be discussed at the same time. Hitler's two proposals were made in answer to the council's invitation to him to send a delegate to the London meeting.
