Beaver and dumped tea and an effigy of Aytollah Khomeini into Boston Harbor, as the patriots did in 1773, in protesting acts of tyranny. Past Department Commander Robert C. Hagopian and Professor Marie-Antoinette Lee of Endicott College spoke on the occasion reminding those present that the event was to send notice to Ayatollah of the unity of the American people and veterans demanding a release of the hostages, who are not forgotten. The effigy was made by Professor Lee and was of imposing nature. Those in attendance from Hamilton were, Adjutat Henry Hovanasian, Professor Levis Hampton of Endicott College and former Selectman George E. Cantwell, from Wenham, Thomas F. Connerty, Andrew Connerty, and David Connerty.
