A New One-Man Parachute Boat Ralph Douglas gives a practical demonstration of the new one-man parachute boat for fliers of single-seaten fighter planes. In case the boat should be pierced with machine gun fire, the equipment includes special plugs the flier can quickly fasten into the holes made by a bullet. If any accident should happen to the boat he has equipment for emergency use which he can use either working from within the boat or from in the water. In addition, he has a collapsible fabric bailing cup and a collapsible fabric sea anchor. The Government also furnishes a can of water and a sea marker for use by the flier in drawing attention for rescue purposes.
