Published state. The clouds are added, the shore in the middle distance is defined and a dark strip of water is indicated along the bottom of the plate. Additional lines darken the plumage of the ducks. Reproduced. Five hundred and thirty-five proofs, on Whatman paper, of which five hundred and twenty-five are used as the frontispiece for Volume III of the Paff catalogue.
