St. Peter's is seen in the distance from the terrace overhang by trees. Two priests walk along towards the right, and a lady stands near the trunk of a tree towards the right with her back to the parapet. Some buildings have been retouched, windows and dark spots being inserted; other distant buildings and St. Peter’s have been retouched. On the soutane of the priest to the left there are still clearly marked parallel oblique lines extending as far as the end of the sleeve.
