Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed on stationery with the letterhead reading "Huntly Lodge, Edinburgh." Above the salutation, the number "76" is written in pencil next to the words "June, 1877." The writing from the last page of the letter spills over onto the salutation, and is written vertically, facing the fore edge.
