A.F. Williams writes to Amos A. Phelps regarding information concerning houses to be rented or bought in Farmington. He compares prices of different houses and writes "should you wish to rent or purchase & wish me to be more particular I will most cheerfully do it for you but I tho[ugh]t that the information above would be all that was at present necessary & if the prospect was flattering that you & your lady would wish to come & see which you would like best & then if you wished I would buy any place for you at the or on the best times in my power."
