Description:
Edmund Quincy writes to William Lloyd Garrison sending him a letter from Samuel May, "which explains itself," and asking Garrison to notify him if he cannot meet at Samuel Edmund Sewall's office the following Wednesday. He discusses the will of Francis Jackson and tells Garrison that Maria Weston Chapman remembers that Jackson did not want to use his money to support the National Anti-Slavery Standard. "She is most decidedly of the opinion that the whole of the money should go to the Freedmen," Quincy states.
