Description:
William Jenkins writes to Samuel May saying that he "like[s] your motion to hold a meeting at Andover" and that he prefers July 27 or 28 as he has "made it certain that I can have the universalist house." He suggests holding the meeting at night as "farmers & mecanics [sic] would not be likely to come in till evening ..." Jenkins asks May to tell Wendell Phillips to come, stating that "he must be there for he can call them rascals and they do not seem to know it. O Phillips Phillips yes we will hear him."
