Letter from Robert Folger Wallcut, Boston, [Massachusetts], to Samuel May, 1851 July 21
Description:
Robert F. Wallcut writes to Samuel May explaining that he cannot forward May's note to Huntington, since Huntington is expected to return soon from Hadley, Massachusetts and would not receive the note "in season for him, were he ever so earnest for it, to procure its insertion in the this week's Register." Wallcut remarks, "What contemptible meanness was evinced by the Register last week in regard to your article." He tells May he will send "the package containing the rejected communication" to A.P. Peabody.
