Letter from L. Billings, Ware, [Massachusetts], to Samuel May, 1851 July 22d
Description:
L. Billings writes to Samuel May stating that the date May proposed "will be agreeable to me & I trust to other friends." Billings says he has been in Ware for 8 months, "only long enough to learn that the Anti-Slavery cause is an unpopular one." He asks May to send him printed notices for the August 2 meeting and suggests they hold another meeting the evening before.
