Letter from S.L. Little,Newport, [Massachusetts], to Maria Weston Chapman, 1840 [November] 25
Description:
S.L. Little writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to how many subscriptions there are for her book. She wrote to Mr. Garrison and received no answer. She wants to know if Maria requires any of these books at the anti-slavery fair. She only has eighty-three subscribers and has "therefore been compelled to run in debt whcih sale of books must liquidate as I am out of present means."
