Description:
Halvor Halvorson writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to returning an iron plate which William Bassett borrowed while Halvorson was living in Lynn. If the society needs it further, "forward me in its place $10.00 which amounts is not more than half the value of the plate, but will satisfy me, as I intend to apply the above am[oun]t to a benevolent purpose."
