Letter from John Levy, Lowell, [Massachusetts], to Maria Weston Chapman, 1843 July 15
Description:
John Levy writes to Maria Weston Chapman in regards to having received word from Wendell Phillips that it would not be convenient for him to attend the celebration at Lowell (of the Middlesex County anti-slavery society) he wishes that Phillips may be urged to come, as otherwise "many of the friends will be greatly disappointed." He would like to call for some mottoes. S. Clay sends this letter to Maria.
