Lucy M. Ball writes to William Lloyd Garrison and Isaac Knapp reporting that at the quarterly meeting of the Boston Female Anti-Slavery Society it was voted that $20 "be forwarded to you as a remuneration of your numerous acts of kindness to our Society ..." Ball adds, "May your invaluable paper continue to be a terror to evil doers and a parise to those that do well."
