In the subway
Item Information
- Title:
- In the subway
- Description:
-
New York. (Bellows) / Judging by their clothes, the affectionate people enjoying the shared adventure of a subway ride may well be foreigners. In a later print, "Auntie Mason and Her Husband" (M. 180), the artist uses his lithographic technique in a completely different manner to show a couple in a similar pose, characterized this time by coolness and formality.
