Lower Mill, Greene Mfg. Co., River Point, R.I. Albumen print, [ca1860]. Image depicts the Lower Mill of the Greene Mfg. Co. in River Point, R.I. Shows two horse-drawn carriages with facing left down the hill, both containing passengers. Four people are standing to the right, with more (workers?) in the right background just in front of the chimney. Other workers are seen in the doorways on each floor of the center tower, just to the left of the carriages. The Lower Mill is three and a half stories high, made out of granite. River Point is a section of present-day West Warwick, R.I. 41 x 31 cm. (w/out mount); 53 x 43.25 cm. (w/mount). (OCLC)
