Scored 680, 11.3 average, for third high Knick in 1949-50. Led Baltimore in 1948-49 with 779, 13.0 average, 12th high in league. Bullets got him from Boston Celtics late in 1947-48 and he sparked Baltimore to Championship, scoring 176 points in 11 playoff games. Boston's top scorer in 1946-47 with 620. hits well with either hand out of pivot spot and with two-hand overhead set. Served 3 yrs. in Army, two overseas. Born in Newark, N.J.
