Letter from Owen Jones, Curry, [Pa.], to William Lloyd Garrison, Jan[uary] 25 1867
Description:
Owen Jones writes William Lloyd Garrison stating that he had read an announcement indicating that Garrison was writing an "elaborate history of the Anti-Slavery movement", and inquires when and by whom this work will be published. Jones congratulates Garrison on the abolition of slavery following Garrison's years of carrying the "brunt & burden of the battle for so many".
