Letter from Patrice Larroque, Paris, [France], to William Lloyd Garrison, 20 [October] 1874
Description:
Patrice Larroque writes William Lloyd Garrison informing him that the "Golden medal" ("médaille en or") forged in honor of John Brown will soon be making its way across the Atlantic, and requests that Garrison see to its welfare upon its arrival in Boston, and present it, along with the letter addressed to Mrs. Brown presenting the medal to the Brown family in honor of their deceased patriarch, to the youngest son of John Brown.
